| NOTHING REMAINS THE SAME |
Have you noticed how unstable our lives are? About the time we get comfortable with our situation, something changes and we have to make new adjustments. Nothing remains the same for very long! We are undergoing many changes here at Netherwood Park right now. We have lost several families due to new jobs or transfers. Unfortunately, we are not done with that yet. We had a longtime church worker (Wayne Sharp) retire last month. Betty Roberts retired the end of last week.
There are also the changes that "new blood" brings. We have had a baptism plus four new families place membership in the past two weeks. We have a new church secretary (Barbara Dees) to work alongside LuAnn Marpel in the office. This Sunday we will install an additional elder, Curtis Burnett. Although these are wonderful changes, they force us to make certain adjustments to our lives.
"Change" is a strange animal. Some of it we like and some we hate. However, unless we learn to cope with it, we will be miserable. Perhaps we should concentrate on that which never changes:
