When you and I die and pass from this earthly scene, we leave behind everything we have and take with us everything we are. That truth is fairly simple and uncomplicated.

          One of the items that we leave behind is our influence. How was it that we impacted our family, friends, and associates? What will those individuals recall when they think of us?

          If we want others to remember us for our Christ-like influence, then we must start with a very basic ingredient – a firm conviction about the Lord and His Word. Without that ingredient, our influence is minimized. So many today make their daily decisions from strictly personal desires and inclinations. When that kind of decision making process is practiced for an extended period of time – our spiritual legacy is short-lived.

          Are you committed to the Bible's authority and relevance for all areas of life – work, family, recreation and finances? An unyielding conviction to know Jesus and His Word is the cornerstone to a Christ-like influence. Is there anyone benefiting from your Godly influence today? Words and deeds over the long haul of life form the brick and mortar of an influential life. It's all in the power of Christ Jesus.
