IT WILL BE WELL WITH YOU!

Isaiah wrote concerning the judgment God was going to bring upon Judah because of their sins. Imagine the fear that message must have brought to the hearts of the righteous. Isaiah received the words of God and wrote by inspiration, "Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling . . . They have brought disaster upon themselves," [Isaiah 3:8-9]. This must have brought both sorrow and fear to those people who remained faithful to the Lord our God.

Therefore, God instructed the prophet to add the following message to calm the troubled souls of God's faithful few. He wrote, "Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds," [Isaiah 3:10]. Isn't it nice to know that God takes good care of His people? Think about it! God has promised that it will be well with us if we are His righteous people! That is AWESOME!

The message of God's bountiful blessings upon the righteous is not merely an Old Testament doctrine. The New Testament presents the very same message. "Praise be to God . . . Who has blessed us . . . with every spiritual blessing in Christ," [Ephesians 1:3]. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights," [James 1:17]. "If we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him," [1 John 5:15]. These verses, along with many others should comfort our souls. God is a gracious giver.

Therefore, don't worry! If you are God's child, it will be well with you. He will bless you and you will receive the fruits of your faithfulness. What CONFIDENCE we should have as we serve Him. Like Paul, we can say, "I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day," [2 Timothy 1:12]. God would have you to understand that it will be well with you – He will cause things to turn out all right. That is because He is God! ~ and . . . He loves YOU!
