For centuries, the lives of God's people were directed by the words that came to them through the prophets.   Today, we may ask the same question: "Is there any word from the Lord?"   The answer without question is "Yes."

• He gave us the word GRACE.  We are justified by His grace.
• He gave us the word LOVE.   A love that is a perfect expression among men in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• He gave us the word HOPE.   The hope of the fulfillment of all the promises presented in the Gospel.
• He gave us the word FAITH.   Not only faith in the promises of God but faith in God Himself.
• He gave us the word WORD.   In the first epistle of John it is stated: "That which was from the beginning, which we heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of Life. . ."

          The WORD that God gave, His only begotten Son.

          Thank God that we can say "Yes" in answer to the question:   "Is there any WORD from the Lord?"
