| Tell Me The Story Of Jesus |
Vacation Bible School is back! This year, V.B.S. will be different from years past. It will be a one day event, held on Saturday, July 31.
The theme is "Tell me the story of Jesus". The format for VBS this year will have to be different. The kids will not be involved in classes, but have the opportunity to meet six different people Jesus knew. They will be able to learn more about Jesus by the people that knew him best. The kids will rotate through these six "scenes". There will be six coordinators that will lead these scenes.
This will be a great opportunity to reach the kids of Netherwood Park and the surrounding community. A one-day format will allow us to provide an exciting and educational event for the kids. These scenes will bring the stories of the Bible to life, bringing them closer to the Christ we all love.
We will need help from everyone to have a successful VBS. We will need many people to assist with the scenes, help rotate kids, provide food, sew costumes, work at registration, help set up and tear down, and much more. Please be thinking about what you can do to help. There will be a sign-up sheet on the Bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.
